Play responsibly: limits, warning signs and help
Casino games are paid entertainment. These habits keep them that way.
Only for adults
Online casino games are for people aged 18 and over. If you are younger, please close this site. Parents can use the parental controls on phones and browsers to block gambling sites.
Check the law where you live
Rules on online real-money gaming in India differ between states and central law, and they have changed recently. It is your job to check what applies to you before you play. 12Win cannot give legal advice.
Habits that help
- Set a money limit before you start, from money you do not need for anything else.
- Set a time limit and take breaks. Fast games like crash games and andar bahar burn through a budget quickly.
- Never chase losses. Raising your stake to win money back is how small losses become big ones.
- Do not play when upset, tired or after drinking.
- Never borrow money or use money meant for bills, family or savings.
Warning signs
Take a break and talk to someone if you notice that you:
- spend more than you planned, again and again;
- hide your playing from family or friends;
- feel restless or angry when you cannot play;
- play to escape problems or to win back losses;
- borrow money or sell things to keep playing.
Where to get help
- Talk to someone you trust, or to a doctor or counsellor.
- Tele-MANAS, the Government of India's free mental health helpline, answers on 14416 around the clock in many Indian languages.
- Ask the casino's support to pause or close your account.
